RIP, Kurt. Today is not Kurt Cobain's death anniversary, but I just happened to think of him and its making me feel especially sad. Interestingly enough, I actually came to know about Kurt Cobain and Nirvana when I read the book About A Boy by Nick Hornby. It's a pretty good book. I didn't watch the movie (with Hugh Grant in it. And no. He did not act as Kurt) though. For those who don't know anything about Kurt Cobain...he died in 1994 and he'd only be 40 years old if he were still alive today. Seriously, one of the most charismatic and influential people ever. More importantly, someone I really respect, not because of his rockstar cred or anything like that, but because of the things that were important to him. Peace, love, empathy. You are still sorely missed. Sorry for raining on the (Christmas elves') parade. I can't pretend as if I'm having 100% fun.
